8. Where do the fires of hell come from?
“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.” Revelation 20:9 For further study see 2 Thessalonians 1:9 and Ezekiel 39:6.
9. Will anyone put out the fires of hell?
“It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.” Isaiah 34:10 For further study see Mark 9:45 and Isaiah 1:31.
quench– to actively put out or stop, this does not include fire that burns itself out
“for ever” – from the Greek word “olam” meaning age-lasting or until the end of the age or until complete
10. Will the wicked all get the same punishment?
“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:” Romans 2:5-6 For further study see Hebrews 2:2-3 and Proverbs 24:12.
11. Who was hell made for?
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Matthew 25:41
12. What will happen to satan?
