Part 1:  Coming to God
1.  What is God doing for us?
“The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”  Jeremiah 31:3
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”  John 12:32  (For further study see Hosea 11:4)

2.  What does God ask us to do?
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”  Revelation 22:17  
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  Matthew 11:28-30  (For further study see Isaiah 55:1)

3.  What blessings are promised to those who come?
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”  John 16:24

4.  Does God hear our prayers?
“The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.”  Psalms 6:9
“O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.”  Psalms 65:2  (For further study see Psalms 34:15 and 1 Peter 3:12.)

5.  Does God answer our prayers?
“In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.”  Psalms 86:7
“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.  Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.”  Psalms 34:10-11  (For further study see Romans 8:28.)
